OM Freedom Cafe

A cafe perched just above Tha Ganga with a lovely view and a cool breeze in the evening.
They are quite busy and there are a lot of people.
They have old electric bulbs and create a nice cozy ambience. Thankfully there is no music.
Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty and quite customisable.
Tofu and shitake mushrooms stir fry, the rice noodles and their strawberry and orange juice ware brilliant.
Nice smoky flavours, just the right amount of spice and tasteful presentation makes this cafe a winner for me. We will definitely be coming here more often!
They don't do vegan pizza but I had some vegan cheese with me and they made a really nice pizza with it.
Courteous staff and leisurely service makes for a fantastic relaxed meal.

Food is good , tried Chai, Cold coffee with ice cream, Pizza, ice cream and Fries.
The view from the place is simply exceptional.
You would enjoy sitting here in evenings with lights all over.

The food options in Rishikesh are to die for. Though egg is the only option which is close to non-veg, their wide variety of veg multi-cuisine option is something that adds wonders to your trip. My personal favourite Shakshouka to Enchiladas to my friends favourite Lasagna are worth it. You can quench your thirst sown with fresh Pineapple juice with Ginger and Mint, Fresh Orange juice and Banana shake. We 3 justified our big appetite.

Nice place with a view of Ganga River, nice sitting arrangement especially the evening view is awesome 👍. Food is good.. ambiance is excellent 👌.. everyone must visit to feel the evening on the bank of river

It's a perfect place to take some rest along with meal.
It's based on buddha ideology like...here you relax, read books and lie down.
We didn't like food there.
Didn't seem fresh.

Possibly the best environment you can find anywhere. Try to get seats in balcony, they offer amazing view of Ganga river and great place for photos.

Food is sub standard. Waiters don't know how to provide customer service.
Even as basic as fries were too bad to eat. We wasted all our food.

Best way would be to go there, get a coffee, click good pics and get out. Atleast until the food taste is improved.

Lakshman Jhula is what you should see after having a meal at Freedom Cafe. The chef at this cafe cooks good pizza, hummus and salads. Order perfectly cooked pancakes. The whole impression won't be complete without cold coffee that is delicious here.

If you are around the Tapovan area in Rishikesh, that is where the café is located. It is situated around the Laxman Jhula area, so not only can you sightsee around the spot, but you can also make a quick stop there and fill your tummies.

I visited here on a weekend, luckily it was not much crowded.

View and location - 5/5 for the view and seating. This cafe is located alongside the Ganges and one can get a clear the river, sunset and feel the breeze at the same time. I feel best time to visit here would be before sunset so as to enjoy the sunset views.

Food - not anything great here. Staff was not able to give any suggestions.

2. Al fungi pizza
3. Chocolate shake
4. Nutella shake
5. Kitkat shake
Everything from above was just average.
