Mullayanagiri View Spot

This is the highest point of chikmaglur. Best place to watch sun rise. The road is single and can be gone through ur own vehicle. One should be careful while driving because of narrow road. The wind is too powerful may be at 70-80km/hr speed. Nice place to visit and adventure.

Mullayanagiri is the highest peak in Karnataka, India. Mullayyanagiri is located in chikkamagaluru. Nature at it's best. Road to the hills is curvy and when you drive or ride u will feel amazing. Better to visit in the early morning or in the evening and not in the noon.And this place is open for 24 hours but better to visit only in the morning or evening. There are many shops near view point. And also one can visit temple (Seetallayyanagiri) on the way. Totally a must visit place in Karnataka and also we can treck this from half but have to be careful with wild animals.

It's a extra ordinary place. Nothing to complain about its litterally beautifull.
But there was so much crowd. I went in the October month of 2020. People roam around without mask. So we have to b little carefull nd plz do carry safety kit. Sanitizer nd keep washing ur hand regularly. While on the way to mullyanagiri u wil have some beautifull scenary of nature nd mountains. After reaching the base of the peak. U have to park ur vehicle. Nd have to walk in between 500m to 1km. But the good thing is u dnt have to trek. They have made some steps to walk to the top. Nd u wil get some beautifull place to capture photos b4 reaching top. Nd on the top u wil have a mesmerising. View of nature. Nd their is even a temple in the top.
It best for family I feel. U can spend some time with them but I dnt recommend taking ur family out including kids to such places where it wil b crowded. But stil it was beautifull expirece. Mullayyanagiri is located at 13°23′26″N 75°43′18″E in the Chandra Dhrona Hill Ranges of the Western Ghats of Chikkamagaluru Taluk. With a height of 1,930 metres, it is the highest peak in Karnataka. The summit of Mullayanagiri houses a police radio relay station.

It's not the best of all peaks, but definitely a place where your soul sits in peace. I stayed at mountain top behind the temple, the view is breath taking and clouds surrounding you. Definitely a cheaper tourist place that makes you feel like you are in himayala

The highest peak of Karnataka. You can opt to go by jeep which will take you near to the peak. Charged us 500 for both ways, for the entire jeep. It is very chilled and cold with lots of mists and fog above the peak. Once we reach the point , we need to climb the steps which were kind of stiff and zig zag. It's fun for those who love to go for morning trekking. As we climbed and reached , it was amazing view of the hills and mountains .Down near the peak we had hot maggie, bhel and tender coconut. A little expensive though , as they need to carry all these stuffs to such heights.A must visit place in Karnataka. 🙂

Nice place and beautiful scenery. Good to go early morning because they allow limited vehicles to go.top. on top you need to take gypsy or you can walk for 2.5km which Is also best because you can enjoy weather and beautiful ghati. Nature at its best. Mostly it will be cloudy and chill.

One of the best hill view point in Karnataka, The Greenish all over the place. To view the hill top have to walk for 20 mins, Several food shops are available. The must visit place in Chikmagalur..
