Cafe under the tree!! One of the best place in Janakpuri where I visited recently. The whole vibe and ambience is just amazing. The food here is yum and the staff co-operative.
◆Water melon drink! This is the best coolers I had recently. The beautiful music around helps you soothe and relax.
◆The chicken toast is the must order dish that suits the environment. The coffee and the environment kicked it to a different level.
The whole experience was wonderful and worth remembering. Looking forward for more visits.

The food, ambience is good, but not something to write home about. The prive you pay is okay for the food you get. And the nachos are suggested here.

Dj is bad Staff is not so good No proper air conditioning No guards or bouncer Speakers are also not good . They play music not so loud So this place is not so good but it's okay if your a boy .. not for girls bcoz there is no safety for girls

Not a bad place and prices are reasonable too. Need to control a bit on salt otherwise it’s a small cosy comfortable place to hang on with buddies. Need to add more hot drinks and perhaps some beers? If not alcoholic then perhaps a breezer would do the job. Massive selection of food and something for everyone. Take it easy and not a place for fast food but fresh cooked food. This cafe is not at all what reviews say. Food's quantity was less. We ordered a watermelon mojito, non veg pasta, Virgin mojito and nacho corn chaat. Watermelon mojito was not available, so we changed it to kiwi mojito. Food was okay okay. Not at all up to the mark.

Cafe Under Tree : The Best In Shimla....
Cafe Under Tree is just next to the Jhakhoo Temple and is easily the best cafe in the entire of Shimla. My first expression at the sight of the wooden framed and glass adorned cafe was of disbelief.
I had been informed of countless cafes and restaurants in Shimla's Mall Road but not many recommended this gorgeous place to me.
We arrived at the cafe as a family of four and took a few minutes to admire the interiors of the cafe. The cafe even provides with a slim balcony that you step onto and admire the dense forest outside the cafe.
The cafe is filled with tourists during the day time and probably by the locals during the night.
We ordered for a Himachali Thali, margheritta pizza a cold coffee and a hot coffee. The food was enough for the four of us and the bill was a sight of disbelief.
We were charged with just above 800/- and the experience at the cafe turned out to be purely budget-friendly.
Coming the to the food, The Himachali Thali was infused with traditional goodness and I absolutely loved the food here.
I would strongly recommend 'Cafe Under Tree' and will call it the best place to eat in Shimla.
However, the biggest disappoint for me was the fact that the restaurant is vegetarian. But that should have been obvious considering its proximity to the temple.
