Amarkantak is a tourist place..Here many tourists come daily for taking holy bath in Narmada udgham..son muda, Kapil dhara, mai ki baghiya, Kalyan ashram etc..are some places that u visit here..there is no train route in amarkantak.. nearest railway station is pendra road which is 23 km before amarkantak...

Important destination to find taxis and buses for travelling in amarkantak. Buses take 50rs for pendra road and taxis take 70-100. Located near the Ma Narmada Mandir and Sarvodaya hotel and lies almost at the center of all the tourist spots of amarakantak.

Basic facilities are very poor. Sulabh shauchalaya charges 10 INR. Too much. No drinking water is available. In rainy season... It becomes a mess.

Need many more development, People are coming from different parts of India as its a Tourist place but still development struggling with itself. District administration must look after all issues.

It needs more improvement, there's no facilities related to food and hotel's, there should be lot's of facilities regarding transportation... But yet loved this place... Bcz having childhood's memories...❤️
