Before parcel - Very unprofessional and rude employee in parcel section. Have no explanation for the split of charges with excuse that its all online billing. Does not accept cards or online payments (Any educated person knows why) Charged 400rs extra above billed amount for packing.
When received - packing was done with very cheap materials, my vehicle was full of wheat flour (looks like the gunny bag used was of it). Soon after I asked the VRL folks to open the packing I knew my bike was put down. Both indicators in left were broken, lots of scratches on the tire.
It was a horror experience. This kind of service for such unreasonably heavy charge, Infact my experience with Indian railways was much better than this.

I booked an VRL AC Sleeper from Mumbai to Bangalore on July 3rd 22. My pick up location was KLE college, Kalamboli.
Although I called the mobile number given about 30mins before arrival time to confirm im there, the bus did not stop at pick up location. As I noticed the bus go past us, I called the VRL call centre again and staff initially told us that it was our fault not to have boarded the bus as it had stopped.
I told him that I'm not a superman (not yet!) to board a speeding bus at 100kmph on a highway.
The call centre guy later confirmed with the bus driver and told us the bus will wait for us on the highway at distance of 15mins. We noticed on the GPS tracker, the bus had indeed stopped near Panvel.
Another bus going to Udupi will pick me up and drop me to where my bus was standing.
This Udupi non AC bus arrived 30mins after we called and took me to Pune after 120mims of travel.
However after almost 2 1/2 hrs of ordeal I saw the original bus which was waiting at Pune and not in Panvel as promised.
The driver did not apologise for not stopping at my location and wanted to start the onward journey immediately. I asked for a coffee break and he reluctantly agreed.
When we reached bangalore, driver raised his voice saying I should not have complained (emailed to Vrl feedback) as it would cost his job. He meant it was a "minor mistake "which is "leaving a passenger behind making me travel in a non AC bus till pune"
No one from VRL had the courtesy to get back to me on my complaint. Quite pathetic service standards from a company I've admired for long.
What if my bus was the last on that route? Would I have to take a cab and chase the VRL Volvo or travel next day??

This is the ace to collect all our courier and packages... Good thing is that you can drive your car /Bike right inside till the godown where you can collect your parcel.... Hassel Free and drive right back to Mysore Road.....
