Chakdaha Bus Stand

Good bus stand.. Near Chakdaha railway station. It is very old bus stand and need to more improvement, lots of people gathered here everyday for travel. Itz very busy bus stand.

Bus route - 20 number ( chakdaha bongaon) road, 28 number road, 32 number road.. All bus available there.

This is the main only bus stand in Chakdaha . It has 5 route . Chakdaha-bangaon. Chakdaha - ranaghat . Chakdaha - nimtala. Chakdah- helenca and sindrani and nataberia. So it cover a vast area . It has a very busy schedule for it's people. The main route is chakdaha bangaon. It is 100m away from Chakdaha rail station .

Pros.: Bus service is Okay.
Easily accessible from the railway station.
Various routes.
Large market is nearby.

Cons.: Quality of the buses is not up to the mark. Too less space inside the buses.

The road adjacent to the bus stop is always crowded because of the large market. So it takes time for the buses to get out of the bus stop & start running through the roadway.

It's okay type bus stop, not too big but very near to railway station so you can get bus directly to Bongaon, Ranaghat, kalyani, krisnanagar and many more auto and other things

The Bus stand is good,but the toilets are dirty. Few little shops near the stand is crowding the stand and these shopkeeper are very bad behaved and are always trying to cheat the people coming by train to the bus stop. In front of the bus stop it's always crowded, but I have never seen any traffic police there.

No rest tomm , don't have any seating arrangement,

It is better than what it was in the fifties and sixties of the last century .But considering the increased population using this bus-stand , it needs to be improved in many respects.

Situated nearby Chakdaha railway station. Chakdaha to Bongaon route is accessible form here. Bus available form 4.30 Am to 9.30 Pm on 30 minites interval.
