5 No. Garia Bus Stand

The terminus is located nearby to the Garia Bazaar also known as the 5no. Bus stand due to the bus route that plys between Garia and Howrah Station. Need more buses and the frequency of buses is to be increased. In need of urgent requirements of a shed to protect from rainy weather and also sufficient lighting. There must be provision of resting rooms and toilets which aren't available. A departure board is must.

Bus station is quite good but a display board must be there with Number, Route Timing and other necessary details, for both AC & NON-AC buses. This facility will make travelling even more comfortable and will enhance the service as well as experience.

Important bus terminus in Garia area. But bus service system is not good enough. When there is need for a bus, there no bus available. So, people have to go by auto, where they have to wait in a long queue. Bus depot is not well maintained, especially in monsoon. Here S5 goes to Garia via Baghajatin, Dhakuria, Rashbihari Avenue etc.

Only S5 bus is available from this bus stand. S5 bus runs in GARIA TO HOWRAH route via JADAVPUR. A BUS CANTEEN is also located here. In this canteen one can get good foods in reasonable price. The owner of this canteen is a good human being.

A Hub of Garia locality. Metro station is 3 mins walk. No. 6 bus depot is 2 mins walk. 3 auto stands are located close by connecting in different directions various parts of Kolkata. Residents of Garia are blessed to be close to this bus stand. The markets and shops crowd this area and one can shop various articles of choice. The drawback is the crowd and noise. Overall an advantageous spot.
