Medinipur Central Bus Stand

A place for avail many buses to various places. They buses departs frequently to many locations. Shops are available beside the bus stand. Drinking water is also available here. But the place is quite darty due to large number of people use to take buses from here.

It is located very near to WEST MIDNAPORE DM Office. Both private and Govt buses are available here. You will get many bus es for all direction. Govt bus tickets are available from the counter 15-20 minutes before the departure time. Staffs are not that much helpful. But its very disappointing that they don't have any contact number. Everyone has to visit the office for any enquiry.

This place is considered as District's Central Bus Stand. From this central bus stand buses are available for various destination like Kolkata via Kolaghat, Jhargram, mecheda, Panshkura, Kharagpur, Digha, Shalboni, Goaltore, Egra, Gorbeta, Bishnupur, Raghunathpur, Mukutmanipur etc.
Various types of hotels are available for fooding and lodging with minimum rate.
The Bus stand is not very cleaned and properly maintained.
SBSTC Bus services are also available from this place.

It is a good place. Huge number of busses of different routes are available here . Food Stall, waiting place , toilets are available here . A enquiry counter is also available here .
