Kalpetta Old Bus Stand

Old bus stand, Kalpetta is for buses towards Kozhikode, Chundel, Etc. If you want to go towards Kozhikode and looking for vacant seats in buses you should board your bus here. Atmosphere is good. Some seats available to wait for buses. Toilet available but not so clean. Some tea, coffee and snacks shops are there in bus stand. Overall, a good bus stand to board a bus.

It's a good bus bay hear we get buses to defferent places in wayanad ,to defferent districts even to defferent stats .Insid it there are many stors like bakerry,bookstall,cofeeshops,hottal,etc.psc coaching centre for minority is situated on first flor.

Buses from Kozhikode towards sultan bathery and mananthavadi will not enter into bustand.

It's the only stop for long distance and inter state at night time.

Every bus to Ernakulam Trivandrum area stops here..whether it is super fast or town to town

You will get the buses to kozhikode including State Transport bus from this old Bus stand, kalpetta.
The toilets are not so clean.

Don't bring a car here, it's not easy to find a place to park. The traffic outside the stand is quite slow too. You can drop people off, though.
This is the place to board day or night buses going south ( Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram..)
A small stand, but rich with resources. You have two book stalls (NBS and deshabhimani), seats to wait fo buses in, tea shops, fancy items shops, bakers, lottery vendors, cigarette sellers (one that works on even hartal days) and such. There's an awesome restaurant that serves the best Biryani in Kalpetta, just north of the stand, and accessible from the stand. There's even a beer parlour beside it.

Well what to say , you can see the mist even in April morning also. Calm and quiet area. So many restaurants which give a mix of chicken dishes. A small town with all facilities on a hill top.
