A peaceful place, it's very close from the sacred place the cremation place of the lord Buddha.

It's a good to place, where you can study Buddhist literature.

Temporarily closed due to construction work.
But you can visit..with permissions 👍

Beautiful place with huge Ashok stambh. Friendly people 🙏🏻

Small cosy monastery with dedicated Bhikhus taking care of the place.

I stayed in Vihar for few nights, no hotel can compete with such places if traveler is dedicated to Dhamma.

I was offered breakfast and lunch, no one requested any fees for lodging, but of course donation is highly appreciated.

May this Vihar flourish and people come here be happy!

For now this temple is closed...not open for public.
