This Kesariya Stupa is over 400 feet in circumference and rises to a height of nearly 104 feet. The stupa is considered to be the world's tallest and largest Buddhist stupa, standing one foot higher than Java's famous Borobodur stupa. You should must visit this place to see our Heritage and History.

Kesariya Stupa is very popular historical place and it's considered one of the tallest stupa in the world. It's very good and calm place here you can walkout and spent time with your family and feel very good environment. As of now Stupa Renovation work is going and you haven't allowed to climb on top. But in the future when the renovation is completed I think they will allow to climb on the top and the stupa will look more beautiful than it is now. (But 1 negative point is here working labour isn't good people they comment on women bad word if they seen couples are walking together. Department should look on this issue and gave strong statements to labour.)

It is a good place to visit and see the modern architecture and it is not so busy place. You will find a little people just taking pictures there and there is a temple in the north and a very old Banyan tree. It is good place to visit and take photos but not so charming or crowded. It will help you relieve stress. It is saying that there is a mountain of treasure inside that but no one has been able to take out, some people tried it but all of them failed. I don't know how much of it is true but it was said by my grandfather that he got to know about it when he was working there. Do visit this place.

Giving 4* because place have very old history. Government should focus on it's development, seeing in same condition from last 20years. Perfect example of Government Negligence on Tourist Places Development.

Despite being partially excavated, the majesty of stupa is magnificent. Constructed when Buddha was alive and still standing impressively. The biggest acient stupa marking of the place where Buddha made his lessons to his student . However this site wasn't been taking care of well

It's a wonderful place. The numbers of total Buddh Relic Stup is 8. This is one of them.

Its refers to the mortal remains of Lord Buddha.

Foreigners come every year to see this place. This is a holy place

It’s quite enriching religious place one must. But there is lack of basic amenities like washroom and food food services. Also the fencing of the area is broken and not maintained well as the place deserves.
