It's huge and has various collection of books and stationary. The cha bar is not bad, only problem is books are not in their right shelves. And it was difficult to spot them. Has loads of food items and tea from South Asian cuisines for sale as well.

This is one of the best outlets Chai Break has in the city of joy. The staff are so polite and they make sure you have a great time there. They suggest you food based on your preference. I've had pizza (the crust is one of a kind),pasta,salad,french fries out there.They make one of the best Caesar salads out here. I've had the Elaichi Adrak tea and my taste buds are craving for it again. The other varieties of tea are also worth the price. The best part about this Cafe is their ambience. You can grab a book and read it while you munch on the delicacies. They sell really cute stationery as well. It's a must visit for all of my fellow Calcuttans.

They have a lot of variety of books which we can read without any charges but the issue is they have cafe inside the library and the staffs makes a lot of noise while making food for the customer that is so disturbing ,they sells various stuffs like cute pens, keychain,small notebooks, diaries, and bottle ,cups but in a very high prices.... and they have table in only the part where the cafe is ,so if you stand for long ,you have to seat there to make read and noise from the cafe was super disturbing (noise by the staffs while making food and people eating and talking there) and if their tables were full you have to stand becoz the person who was there for having food from cafe can take your seat and have to stand and read......so that's bad as per me...

The place is really a treasure for the bibliophiles. It has a vast collection of books of all kinds and genres, distributed all around the store with labels for the ease of its customers. The ambience is really calm and soothing just as needed while reading a book. Besides the collection of books, it has an entire seperate section for stationery items that doesn't await to say is pretty amazing. In short, we can say the place is am epitome of art and culture, and when there are books along with it what else we need? Yes we do need and that is food. They recently inaugurated their food court within the bookstore which serves quality dishes at reasonable prices. It really is a place to spend great time whether be it by yourself or your loved ones. My recommendation would be even if you are not a reader still give it a visit, who know you might fall in love with books or either the place.

Very nice story book shop with sprawling space, good collection and nice cafe. Ideal time to spend few hours with books.

One of the best bookstore+ stationery shop in Kolkata. Also various other features like cafe and gifthouse are available inside it.
Must visit.

I loved this place .. the uncle who is incharge of baggage counter was very polite and helpful...we wanted to go for a 10 min snack break while we keep our bags and bike at STORY and they allowed it with a very nice gesture .. you can sit here for hours and read as many books you want ...💯

Bad experience @ Story today. All their activity kits were scratched on the top n sides and looked pretty old- pl note they are supposed to be new stock as mentioned by the store manager Supratin and not discounted pcs..pics do t do justice to this. Pl have a look urself. When I pointed it out to Supratin, he said he doesn’t consider them as spoilt/ scratched/ old as the plastic cover was still there.. how can you gift such pieces to anyone when u pay top money and still get bad quality..quite a disappointment for a store of that stature.
