Very recently i visited the book store to buy children's books. I had to scramble through stakes of books unorganised, hidden from view one behind the other, not stacked theme-wise, and makes you loose your patience. This is stark contrast to what I saw it in 2021. It was well organised then. It is very pathetic to see a only-one-bookstore in Madurai with the neglected chilldren section.

As A 90's Kid, Wondered About This Place Since My Childhood. A Decade Ago, My Dad Too Me Here To Buy An Oxford Dictionary.
This Week Took My Son There, To Buy A Couple Of Children's Book To Be Gifted For A Friend Of Mine. Brought Back The Old Memories. Missed To Click A Picture. Still They Have That Good Old Wooden Stairs.

One of the best book stores . Neet books , nda books , English objective and descriptive books , competitive exam books are all available. The only thing I found strange was the lady at the billing section didn't answer any of my questions. I felt she was not customer friendly.

Very big book shop, almost all the best selling tamil books are available here 👍
FYI - There are second hand book shop also available outside this shop (road side) where you can find lot of rare old books... It is like a treasure.

The first bookstore I visited in Madurai. I went to buy some books to gift to my friends. But some of the books I searched for were not found here. But there are lots of Tamil books here in variety of topics. It is very close to the Madurai railway station and can be easily reached here.
