Barve Homes (Damle)

This place is fabulous. If you want to have a tranquil stay, this is the place. Situated near the city but amidst nature. Good thing is that it is not on the road, so you are far from the hustle.
The home cooked food was awesome. Rooms were clean.
Hospitality of both Mr and Mrs Barve was great. Felt like home for me.

Rooms were clean..home made food was good. Place is in isolation. There are no shops nearby and lack of bathroom amenities. Lack of parking space (it hardly fits Alto/estilo). Not bad but not upto the mark.

I had a options to chose a hotel in The city (Ratnagiri) or homestay little away from the city. I chose the Barve home stay and it was an amazing experience. Not only it was cheaper with traveling cost but I got the pleasure of staying in a village. The river side, chat with the locals and experience of their day today life was really great. It was more about the experience than just an accommodation.
The rooms were clean and basic amenities were provided. Mrunaltai and Barve saheb, we really appreciate the hospitality and over all' experience was quite good

It was really worth it to be here. Extreme calm and pleasant place. We celebrated new year party here only. The owner Mr Bhushan is an excellent singer of Hemant Kumar. Both uncle and Aunty are good hosts. My family really loved to stay here. Last but not the least, owner has given paramount importance to cleanliness and hygiene inside and outside the home stay especially the washrooms

The ultimate,clean, calm. Owner will look after everything. Owner is super star.

If you reaaly want peaceful, nature friendly stay do book this. Your each need will be fulfilled. Even many hot spots are nearer to Brave Home(Damle). Full family friendly stay.It was awesome stay. It was our first ever Konkan Trip and we found Barve Homes on Google with good reviews. So decided to book as we have 2 kids also. It is Kid's friendly. My kids enjoyed stay and beauty of nature there. We have seen many new plants, birds around stay only. We were feeling like staying at our home only. Both Unclr Aunty helped us a lot.

Amazing location surrounded by dense forest all around. The owner was very humble and friendly. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Nature lovers will love this place👍🏼

A silent serene place to stay in Ratnagiri city. It's quite out of the city but not too far. One can reach to the City in 10 min by car. Aare beach is 8kms away. We had a lot of fun time there in the morning and could come back quickly. It's actually a small bunglow and owner resides nearby. It's a great advantage as they are very friendly and you get a lot of information to travel at the places nearby. Clean and homely place to stay as many of us can feel at home itself!!
