Lakme Salon

I had worst experience here .I did registered a complaint but no customer satisfaction or response.

Facial is just okay,did not had that much glow n difference.

I took 'classic creme makeup' n my husband took 'sun kissed radiance' makeup on my son's 1st birthday occasion,it was terrible for both of us.

We paid them full amount 11600(6000 for classic creme because we did not wanted to ruin our son's birthday immediately after the function)

My makeup artist was so confident everytime that she is doing her work properly but she did not do my eyebrows,hairs and lips properly all pictures from function conveys that.

1.I have dark eyebrows ,there was no need to add so much of eyebrow pencil.

2.From starting itself i said her I need natural subtle look but she added lipstick so dark that my makeup was looking bold.I was looking like some other person 👿

3. She did not do my hairs properly.
All my hairs were falling off and tiara she applied on back side of my neck.

4.Eyemakeup was worst no difference.

5.Applied the roller directly on my hairs that has left my hairs dry n dull...no safety measures or spray.

6.The artist did not apply gel to set my husband's hairs and his hairs were falling off during the event

Very very unsatisfied with parlour client customer care service .
I have done lots of follow ups for compensation for ruining my day.

This is true that makeup is worst here if you won't guide them and you wont have much knowledge on makeup then they make your day worst .
Please won't try this salon atleast for makeup.

DO NOT GO TO LAKME SALON LALPUR, THEY ARE THE WORST. THEY ARE TRICKSTERS AND CHEATERS.

I did my wedding makeup, hairdo and saree draping from here on May 03, 2022. Face makeup, eye makeup were good.
Hair-do was horrible. A lot of my scalp was visible. The only thing I asked of them in the hair-do was to do it in such a way that my face doesn't look big and my hair looks voluminous. THEY DID A TIGHT TOP BUN PULLING MY HAIR BACK. So, my face looked huge and my hair had very less volume.
In short, my wedding pics came out terribly (the photographers did try to salvage) and my wedding album is ruined.
Pics attached. The first 2 are those of my scalp after hair-do by this salon. The last one is of my natural hair, in case anyone assumes that I'm bald.
I didn't notice that my scalp is showing since I can't see the top of my head. The only person who could see that was the hairdresser, who effectively ruined my hairstyle.

Moral: try this salon out if you're very good at makeup, know what style / look you want and EXACTLY what looks good on you (I want a bun or I want my hair open, etc.). If you give them directions of how you want to look (like small face, less forehead, more hair, etc.) and are unaware of what style suits you, this is not the place for you. They can only execute what you tell them. If you leave it to them, you're going to be sorry.

PS: They also draped the benarasi saree on me which got undone in the middle of the pheras and I had to somehow save my dignity in front of everyone.

Edit, Sept 26: I had made this comment on Lakmé Salon FB account and Lakmé Salon Lalpur's FB account. They called me up and asked me not to comment anywhere else. They apologized and I agreed. Today I noticed that they have removed all my comments. Now people will not know how badly I have been tricked. They are the worst in business. Don't go to their shop.

Please take a good look at the 1st picture attached (one with maangtika). This is how poorly they have done my hairstyle. My scalp was visible, wedding pictures are ruined and a lot of guests commented that I had "hair problems". I don't have hair problems, proof in 2nd pic (ordinary hairdo). When complained, they said "sorry", offered some coupons (which I obviously didn't take since I'm not setting foot in their salon ever) and BLOCKED ME FROM ALL SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS. They even removed all my comments, of course.

Availing their services is like playing a gamble. You can get a good service or you can have your life ruined like me. I believe there are too many salons in Ranchi to gamble on important life moments. Try to avoid them.

Also, this makeup costed INR 20,000/-. Life is too short for important moments to be ruiend so do avoid this salon!!!!

I am the person who didn’t use makeup on face ever, and for my engagement day’s makeup I chose Lakme after lot of brainstorming. I wanted very minimal makeup look, cause even less was more for me. I was skeptical about the process, but the responses from my loved ones and Pics of the event says clearly how beautifully Supriya from Lakme did her work, while I wasn’t sure what I was asking for!! Kudos to Team!! ❤️😊

Awesome Experience. We have our sister in law make up done here for wedding and reception. The service is very good and especially Supriya, she is very nice and understanding and have done a great job. Thanks

It was a wonderful experience...i opted for HD Air brush bridal makeup and was totally amazed by the work of the proffessionals...Thanxs for making my special day more special...special mention to the makeup artist Rinky for such an awesome tranformation.she was very skilled and polite.

Worst experience, Had guest makeup for my sister's wedding on 8th December, it was horrible,I look much better than her makeup, simply I wasted my money. Even they charged 400 for saree draping,which was not draped properly.

The worst parlour I have ever seen'Lakme Lalpur'....They just loot the people... I paid 16500. They ruined my engagement function. Within half an hour only patches/lines started visible on my face nd face started turning oily and horrible. I booked 'Airbrush makeup' on my engagement by the 'Bridal expert'... But when I went for the makeup I saw a new trainer started and completed my makeup...and the trainer started with applying nivea cream on my face as the base, despite knowing that I have oily skin... I told her several time about this but she didn't listened. So, I would suggest not to ruin your precious function.
