I’m glad that I got lot of time to sit in the branch and happily ✍️ Thai review. First of all Standard Charted branch has 0 communication. Once you apply for a card, u don’t know where the card is. Customer care don’t know it. Bank don’t know it. You will not receive any communication or even an SMS saying where is your card. Especially the branch manager is harsh and not even ready to listen what the problem. They will not even send you an SMS except for loan. I’m closing my account happily. For address update wherever you are in Telugu states, you need to travel all the way to Hyderabad by spending 10000rs and visit the super duper bank and beg (not request) just beg them to get your address updated.

Call the customer care and I’m sure they will not have any clue and I bet that no 2 personas will give you the same answers. 1st when I called customer care they said ur card is already in the branch. Next time when I called they said they don’t know and disconnected the call. When I visit the branch for card, they took 30 mins just to handover my card which was renewed. Until then they gave me free time to write this review. After filling form that I’m collecting my card and signatures & paper work finally I will be glad to get my existing card. If you apply for new card that’s it you are done for your life.

This place gives a very good competition to Public Sector. I have visited this places twice for renewal of debit card and both the times I was asked to resolve the issue online or customer care. I told them I am here because I am facing issue both the ways and they asked me try again and visit us again later. There were hardly 1-2 customers in the bank yet they were not interested in helping me.
Advice- Visit this place only if you are interested in spending 6 months to get your card renewed.

Staff is not really helpful in this branch.
Had visited my home branch to convert my savings to salary account. The staff plainly rejected my application and not bothered to explain further. Customer support could not do it either.

Also, unlike other banks, SC App service (right from calling CS, downloading annual statement, to converting accounts), they are far behind.

I have been holding the account from 2010 and now I realised that standards has been degrading here continuously.. and now there are no standards and am planning to close the account soon.. thanks for the services..not interested in writing anymore.. will be writing to crochet.rbi as per escalation matrix in a day and I will close the account

Worst bank ever!!! I personally went and have closed the bank account 3 weeks ago by paying all remaining amount and they confirmed that it would close in next one week and now I see that account is not yet closed and they are again charging me 707 rs for just a week for not maintening minimum balance. Worst part this they even did not send a message why my account closing is not done... Worst service ever...

Also worst customer care... I don't own a credit or a debit card for this account and they do not let go further without that 🤬, how can I maintain min balance for a closed account???

Pathetic bank! Where you are begged not to cancel the credit card first as they are going to make it a free lifetime card and then when you call customer care, they will say they don’t have record handy and someone will call back.

Why does a customer have to do so much back and forth for getting a fee reversal and cancellation of a credit card which he/she never wanted in the first place. I was said, as you have a salary account you will have to keep the credit card also. And now the charges start! I did not even want to use it neither I have used it.

I don’t know how to reach them for a faster resolution 😕

Worst bank ever seen.
No proper customer support.
Running bank with only 3 employees.
Long 3 hours wait, i can say hole day is gone if you come to SCB jubilee hills branch
