This bank operate by borrowing funds-usually by accepting deposits or by borrowing in the money markets. Bank borrow from individuals, businesses, financial institutions, and governments with surplus funds (savings). They then use those deposits and borrowed funds (liabilities of the bank) to make loans or to purchase securities (assets of the bank). Bank make these loans to businesses, other financial institutions, individuals, and governments (that need the funds for investments or other purposes). Interest rates provide the price signals for borrowers, lenders, and bank.

Actually, I've observed 3-4 times that the bank is debiting money from my account without any notification that is absolutely unfair.I don't know why Union Bank always does it but it's about the trust factor which the customers have in Union bank.

Very rude behavior, they aren't taught any manners of how to politely behave with customers. Worst experience, would not recommend union bank to anyone.
