HDFC Bank

Very frustrating experience. Don't go with hdfc. I had a salary account till the time salary is deposited every thing was fine but when I left job and stopped depositing salary they are deducting maintenance charge. It's been around 1&1/2 years Every month they are deducting 600 per month maintenance charge. My account have negative balance now. And I want to what kind of maintenance you are doing?? charging 600 just to message me every month your amount has been deducted!!!

Salary account is a zero-balance account which means you don't have to necessarily maintain any balance in that account. A regular account is an account where you have to maintain a certain balance(on average basis).
When salary is not credited for continuous 3 months in a salary account, the account is automatically converted into a regular account, where if you have to do not maintain the average balance, you will be charged for non-maintance of average balance.
Now you know why you were charged.
It is very easy to blame someone else for your own ignorance. Before blaming someone else, do ensure that you have all the knowledge on the subject. Good luck.

Worst Ever Experience. They took 25 days to open an HUF account. After the welcome kit arrived , there was no debit card in the welcome kit. When i asked the person who opened he told that he forgot to say that debit card is not issued in HUF account. Also he provided me with wrong customer ID. I was unable to login when i needed the net banking. A request to bank manager, plz if you people dont want to open an account or welcome a customer, just deny in the face. and plz do something about the newbies. I am still frustrated over your services. And HDFC is considered the best bank, well i was informed wrong. I now think the old farts of SBI are better than you people.
