The worst banking manners I have ever seen. My loan date was on 14/10/2020. And I went to the bank and saw a notice that bank is closed from last week and reopen on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning I have been calling the bank landline number and there was no response. On trying continuously on 11.30 a lady bank staff picked up the phone and said, bank was in quarantine..and as my loan is agricultural I need not worry on the piling interest and it will be same. That is 6999 for one lakh. And I need to visit bank only on MONDAY. As per corona protocol..I thought the same until I received a call from a male staff on Friday 16/10/2020 and enquired about renewing or closing loan. I told him that a staff from the same bank asked me to visit ONLY on Monday. Late noon I went to bank to close my loan and I received a total amount of 7223 as interest. I asked the lady staff why should bi pay more interst than I was told.she said it is for the days I lagged. I visited the bank on Monday 12/10/2020, found it closed, called on Tuesday and was postponed according to the staffs request and I have to pay the increased interest rate for the days I missed because of this unproffessional unethical union bank staff in paturaikal branch. Last year in 2019 also on the renewal date they created a hungama when I went to renew my agricultural gold loan to pay one lakh in cash and interst or change it to general. As a normal' lower class middle class citizen the amount was not resting underneath my pillow to be payed on demand. And I changed my agricultural loan to general loan bcz I don't have the money and i lost my subsidy benefits. To the union bank staff .. I request atleast show some humanity apart from unethical bussiness and use digital platform to update the customers about dos and don't about loan, bank timings, services,appointments ,core banking etc. Being a South Indian Bank customer for more than 7 years I have always felt so much love and respect for the bank and its staff in Thrissur. Expecting the same from the ladies staff of Union bank Patturaikal.

Very bad customer service I am here in bank reached 1.58pm and wrote the payment slip and given to cash counter but they told its lunch time and I requested only 1 minute late please do because am coming from an hospital it’s an emergency that’s why but they are not caring and not listen also .. same cashier is watching YouTube at same time … very bad attitude and customer service is tooooooo bad
