i have visited civil station branch for gold loan.i met Mr athul and he arranged a lady who was in charge of gold loan and introduce us to her.she informed us that currently they are only setting up the section for gold loan so they asked us to apply for gold loan in nadakav branch.Athul called up the nadakav branch and cordinated with MR AFSAL and we were asked by him to come over the nadakav branch.when we visited security informed Mr Afsal that we have arrived.we were asked to wait ( though he didnt have any customer felt like he made us wait) after 5 mins one customer came and got directly into his cabin for the same purpose we came for .security saw this and informed Mr Afsal that we have came first and we should be considered first because it was already 3.50pm.at 4 pm they will close that section they have informed me.civil station branch gold loan representative was also with us she tried her best to convey to Mr Afsal that we have some emergency and since they asked to come over there we have visited.otherwise we would have tried some other bank.this man was so rude and said the civil station bank representative he can keep the gold but can give money only on monday because its second saturday.people like him doesnt have courtsey towards customers.i may be a new customer to him and the customer who was in his cabin and already known by him.every customer is valuable and people like him are ridiculous.he wasted customers time and same time insulting us also.i have never faced like this in any HDFC bank.bank should realise that people like him can really damage the reputation.as a customer i will never visit that branch or nor recommend it anyone !

My issue hasn’t been resolved yet….One of the executive stated that the loan statements will be dropped into my mail id within 2-3 hours when i visited the branch to enquire and now its been high time….
Expecting a spontaneous response!!!!

4. If we make a call to raise a ticket for technical issue, the 'lord' gives the contact of another and ask customer to contact directly. If we dial the given contact the concerned person gives another number and this process continues until customer forgets his issue.
This was the second time I visited HDFC Nadakkavu Branch in Kozhikode city to fetch my consolidated loan statement as it was the nearest loan retail centre. Though earlier experience was satisfactory as my request was handled by a senior official and it took hardly 5 minutes to process even in the middle of Covid-19 restrictions. The recent visit on 26th May 2021 has given me “THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF CUSTOMER HANDLING”.
When I reached the bank, the security official enquired about the matter and asked me to wait outside. He went inside and informed the customer service executive Mrs. Amitha. K about my request. I informed her about the technical glitches faced when I tried downloading the loan statement from the portal. Without trying to understand the technical issue I faced, she replied in a very rude tone that this branch is not providing any loan statement because of the updated Covid-19 protocol. She also asked me to apply online as they will send the statement in soft copy to my email id in 5 minutes and went inside.
After half an hour I asked the security official to check with her. She neither allowed me to go inside nor replied to my queries. Later she informed through the security official that she mailed it to my email id. It was a little urgent for my bank proceedings at SBI. After one hour of waiting and not receiving the statement (though I was second in the queue when I reached the bank at 10.30 am), I told the security official boldly that I need to talk to the Manager as my bank (SBI) proceedings were getting delayed because of this single document left and the bank was open till 1pm on alternative days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday due to Covid-19 restrictions).
I somehow managed to talk to the Manager and he agreed to provide my printed statement immediately and allowed me to enter inside the bank. Even after this, Mrs. Amitha (Customer Service Executive) denied to provide my printed statement and passed my request letter to the adjacent counter. I am writing this review at 8 pm and still I haven’t received my statement copy in email as agreed by her. What a pathetic service.
