More than 100 years old, run by a goan family and this is their fourth generation running now. Must havs are Apple, blueberry and lemon tarts, fruit cake and plum cake. Their savory items are also brilliant. Their behaviour is also very much friendly. But the only drawback is they do not accept cards or phonepay any kind of online transaction app. Only only hard cash 😄

This is one of the best bakery in town and not many people knows about it.
Each and every product i tried is worthy and tastes so much fresh.

Another hidden gem in this melting pot of Kolkata. Their signature dishes are amazing. Coconut Macaroons are filling and sumptuous, pair it with a cup of steaming black coffee. The chicken patty is flaky and crunchy with quality fillings, unlike the grated chicken crumbs in other places. Walnut cake is also great. Most other savouries and breads are available on prior order, so pick up the phone NOW.

Had a chance to try their fruit cake because of my father's office. And this is one of the simplest and yummy no-nonsense mixed fruit cake. The sugar quantity is just perfect although it's on the lower side it's just perfect. Freshly baked cakes for winter evening is perfect 😁

The iconic heritage bakery run by goan family is a must seen place for all the cake lovers during Christmas time. The Google location is very accurate and you won't fave any trouble to reach. It's at a walking distance from Park street metro station. The specialized in rich fruit cake, walnut cakes and they also make the cakes for your special occasion as per your order and your requirements.

Decided to visit this bakery after some recommendations. It's an old bakery operating since 1930. Located deep inside with narrow streets, about 15 mins walk from Park Street metro station. Suggest you use Google Maps to reach there as the location is not very easy to find otherwise.

Now coming to the taste and quality: Bought Rich Fruit Cake (INR 360) and Walnut Cake (INR 340). Both seemed freshly baked. Rich Fruit Cake is relatively small in size and okay in taste, but with a STRONG CHEMICAL-ish smell. Walnut cake is decent. However, I must say that THE PRICE is SUPER EXPENSIVE for both when COMPARED to QUALITY. A more than fair price would be in the range of INR 250-275 (max). The premium they ask is because of irrational HYPE created for some reason. You will find plenty of cakes of comparable quality all over Kolkata at 30-35%+ less price.

If you reside far away from this bakery, FOR NO rational reason you should visit this far and stand in LONG QUEUE to buy MEDIOCRE Cakes at SUPER EXPENSIVE prices. Rather buy from your local Cake shops

Another annoying point is...they DO NOT accept credit/debit cards or any other electronic payments for that matter...ONLY CASH

VERDICT: NOT AT ALL SPECIAL AND VERY MUCH AVOIDABLE (3 out of 5 stars at max - for the price to quality ratio)

A ‘hidden gem’ bakery near Park Street that sells delicious confectioneries at a pocket friendly price. I personally loved the Coconut Macaroon & Brownie.
It’s a must visit place for dessert lovers!
Prices of sweatmeats range from ₹30 to ₹60.

We bought rich fruit cake and chocolate walnut cake after long waiting in the queue approximately one and half hour but both the cakes tastes great. Highly recommended.
