The Magik Oven

My second favourite place for pizza.
Mostly good service and a good calm place to have a spicy bite.
I rarely go there but i order pizza from them usually or my go place is dominoes.
Never had a bad experience yet.
The photo attached is i recently ordered a peri peri pizza from them.

Honestly best place to have snacks in Palakkad. We tried a couple of things from here. The chocolate cake was truly fudgy and indulgent; we polished it off in seconds. Spiced Chai was good. Strawberry Mojito was absolutely watered down. Chicken Wrap was Ok but I really wish it was juicier and tender chicken; the ingredients just wasn't tying together. However, I am obsessed with the Mexicano Alfredo Pasta. THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST PASTA EVER!!! I literally have had pasta inside palakkad, inside India and outside India. But hands down this is my favorite pasta ever!!!! I will be heading back again this week. This place also has calm and modern interior.

A good cafe in prime location that you can dine in for good and tasty foods. Burgers, Pizzas were tried and felt good in taste and quality. Price is high but it's okay. Parking space is bit difficult to access sometimes. No wheelchair accessible entry. Waiting time found bit late sometimes. Overalls a nice hangout diner space for friends and family outings.

Had Freaky Brownie , Many waffles and Brownie Fudge !.
Freaky Brownie is above 200 . The presentation is so damn sick , loved so much . Bt the shake was not so sugary Idk y , Yes it was some sugary bt not so much . I feel like that
Waffles - Every kind of waffles is a must must try whenever you are coming to here . The waffles is not overpriced it's an affordable price and hell yeah it tastes great .
Brownie Fudge was average only , It doesn't taste much , It has burned little . I feel like I was eating burned brownie and not the original brownie.
The way of presentation of every food is so so beautiful 🤍.
Had to wait a bit longer to reach whatever food we order .
The atmosphere of this was also too good.
Parking space provided.

The sandwich was ok, I think we should really look for other options to get a good sandwich

Magik oven is an option for a casual hangout, we ordered a baguette and a hummer beef burger. I was pretty much disappointed with the wait time period most of the food takes around 20-30 mins for preparation. So i suggest plan your order at beginning so that you dont have to wait for inbetween order.

Burger was so disappointin that the customer does not get a preference on how the meat should be cooked atleast the staff didnt ask the preference. The beef patty was a bit overcooked and burned at the sides. Coleslaw in the burger doesn't taste like coleslaw...must be the added sause didnt go well i guess.

But they have a couple of varieties for a continental cafe...cold coffee was amazing...

Ambience is ok, but not a good experience, no table service, I went to have some food n drink, but dropped the food that we have to order again from billing table, if we want take more we have to leave our table every time.
Quality is not with pricing, I had a shake which is the worst I ever had, only sugar taste peaks,
I used to visit magic oven about 25yrs back (near district hospital) it's one of the best, remembers that I went this time by seeing the board,
Sorry to say, VERY DISAPPOINTED

So we sat at this place for nearly 15 mins without anyone serving us. We had to call a guy to get us the menu. The menu was either too exotic like 'Sundae's', or too simple like tea. The prices where high so deciding on something is a challenge. Finally, after being paid no attention for a long time I didn't care about calling a server. We just left, again no one cared. Not much parking available here but for 3 cars. Good chance, I won't be returning to this consumer indifferent place.
