Cake Palace Bakery opposite to Tumkur University is fairly well maintained bakery shop. There are variety of cakes in both pastry and bread form. They do offer eggless cakes, they also take orders and make cakes within a hour. Prices are affordable, however during New Year and festival seasons, it is costly.

It's a pretty average bakery one would see. Cake tastes average, I would not recommend eating pastries, lots of other better places.
