Jila Bakers and confectioners

Jila Bakers is a homemade bakery shop located in South Goa. The place is located a bit inside from the beaches. But the trip is worth it. They make only couple of products like Eclairs, Geneva Bread, Meltings, Cookies etc.

The Eclairs are delicious as they are filled with custard, but the Geneva bread is out of the world. As the name says, the Meltings just melts in the mouth.

Don't miss visiting this place. The ride is worth it.

We had eclairs chocolate pastry, coconut pastry, Geneva pastry it was all amazing.
We also took mix assorted biscuits.

Must visit if you are in South Goa. It’s a home based bakery. Their eclair is worth the try. If you are going from north goa just to experience it, make sure to call them and confirm that they are open

So I have heard about this place famous for their Eclairs and wanted to try them. Must say, the best eclairs I have had. Though some may like it to be eaten just as they are served but trust me, refrigerate them and have them cold and they taste even better. Their caramel almond cake is yum too.

We had heard a lot about their Eclairs. Today had a chance to taste as well. Ordered Eclairs and Plum cake. Eclairs were just moist and filled with cream. Super delicious😋 Plum cake was authentic Goan in taste. Missed their famous meltings.

You wouldn't miss having chocolate eclairs if you visit Jila bakers. The place is famous for the same. It is a home bakery. Apart from eclairs, there are other goodies that are worth trying too.

About chocolate eclairs it's filled with custard and it has a chocolate topping. The taste is good. They are not overly sweet. It has mild sweetness and soft to eat.

The top most priority place for my Goa trip! Travelled about 30 kms to get my hands on the good stuff! Located in by lanes of Ambora-lotoulim.
The chocolate eclairs were heavenly! Filled with custard and topped with chocolate.
The Geneva Pastry was delicious, perfect crust and sweet.
The melting moments is a must must have! Literally melts in your mouth!
Do place your orders prior to going! Highly recommended.

Located in a quaint neighborhood in Loutolim you will come across Jila Bakers. For first timers I would suggest following the map and timings too.
A few reviews suggested ordering in advance but on my visit saw a few locals buying things on the spot. But I called in advance and placed my order as per the specialities.
Parking is not available at the location but just a few meters ahead church parking is available (if the church is closed).
Happy to say I really loved what I ordered.
