Marina Park

Marina park is one of the beautiful place in port Blair. We visited on Feb 2022 and the evening time was wonderful. It has a great play ground for children and they can enjoy with lot of activities.

The most pleasant road to ride on, in Port Blair is flanked on the sea side by the marina.
It is a city centric, windy place to sit on a windy evening with lovely company or alone. Usually is bustling with a lot of people.

Marches and parades happen here quite often like armed forces Milan band March/fly-pasts/naval demos/sky diving by the armed forces.

If you like windy places in a bustling city centre with relaxed atmosphere and with a multitude of eating options then spend an evening here!

I personally used to love it during drizzles. It is a pretty awesome place to try snorkeling or free diving (only if you know how to do it).

You'd be thrilled just by the sheer peace ☮️.

Nice place to spend the evening, there were a lot of sea urchins at the sea shore. Public toilets were also present there, they were clean. Adjacent to the park, there were some nice food trucks offering wide variety of cuisines which was absolutely worth the price and taste.

Nice place by the sea to take a stroll in or sit at. Couldn't find shops nearby to get water. Just some small vendors. But some great food trucks open up in the evening on the other side of the road serving good food and refreshing juices.

It is a very nice well maintained park on the sea shore. Perfect place to click picture. Best time to visit is in evening around 6-7 pm.
Cellular jail is at walking distance from this place which looks amazing with night lights

It's a nice place to chill in the evening, to sit facing the Sea (similar to Marine Drive of Mumbai minus the crowd). Some statues and mementos built along the park to see and click photos. You can visit this place after cellular Jail if you have nothing much to do and then have food in the nearby food trucks!!

The park is located around the water area so one can enjoy the park along with water cool breeze. Situated very near to cellular jail.

Its properly tiled so one can easily walk around the park. Its very accessible for wheelchair people.

The park holds many swings for the children with no entry fee. Mostly its very crowded during Sunday and evening time.
