Amazing experience,if u haven't tried the Jetty ride in Goa , u will be regretted.

Active usable jetty for ferry service which is still operational in some parts of Goa. Beautiful, scenic area. Excellent river view. Quaint houses on riverfront.

The historical entrance to the city of Velha Goa from the Mandovi River.

The river deck on Old Goa side of the River Mandovi near the ferry boat terminal to Divar Island. Serene place. You can get a free ferry boat ride across the Mandovi river to Divar ferry terminal and back by the ferry boats of the River Navigation Department of the Government of Goa.

Vehicles on ferry boat are charged a fee.

Means of transit for localities, who can move to the other side with their vehicles in this jetty.
No charges for passengers and two wheelers, only cars etc. (four wheelers) are chargeable.

This is like a empty peaceful getaway just around the churches of old Goa.

Even better if it is raining. There is some boat ride facility to cross the lake nearby. I didn't use it but there were boat service for sure there.

Great place to spend some time in the evening.. Peaceful..
If you visit this place.. Please don't make this place dirty... I have seen tourist visit and throw plastic bottles, chips packets..
