Paragliding In Bir Billing

Bir is one of the top-notch place for paragliding in India. Approximately we need to travel 1 hour to reach the take-off point. Really it looks very much scary and there is also a chance you would fall while taking off, but once you take off perfectly take my words it would be one of the best adventure experiences in your life. Approx time of the fly will be 20-25 min max and you will be provided GoPro by the pilot to have the experience recorded and no mobile phones or self-brought cameras will be allowed during the fly.

The best time to visit is from October to February and nowadays they are charging 3k per head it is non-negotiable which includes the travel cost and GoPro charges, but you need to pay extra for the photos and videos.

Overall, the experience was very good, and my recommendation would be 5/5.

Bir billing paragliding is probably the primary reason of tourist attraction.

Very smooth service by agency, they pick you up to take off site, Charges INR 3K, Go pro or equivalent camera recording is included, very nice friendly & well behaved pilots.

On landing site, there are very nice photographers, they take very minimal charges & give you softcopies of your landing snaps either to your phone or any other external media.

On take off point, few local vendors have small food points while at landing site there are very top rated famous cafes with a walk of 5 mins.

Overall it was worth plauditory to be there, lovely place, so much adventures, nice climate, food & people too.

This place is very nice for tourist and world no 1 highest paragliding site place is very peaceful and environment is very cool and clean n view are very osm for itch other sides me and my friends enjoyed this place all times and climate are very nice The experience with Thrillophilia was worth remembering. I was little reluctant to the concept of online booking initially but is glad to be proven wrong. The whole team was supportive and available 24/7 for any queries. The vendor provided was also experienced, friendly and held good knowledge about the adventure supports/trekking etc. I highly recommend Thrillophilia packages. I am thankful for the team of Thrillophilia for suggesting this amazing adventure. I had a great time there. Paragliding provides an adrenaline rush that you cannot get anywhere else. The staff there was experienced and helped in during the paragliding. They also ensured the safety of everyone there. I will definitely come back again next year to enjoy the beauty of this place after the adventure. Paragliding arranged by the team was done very professionally. All doubts about age and weight were clarified soonest. The paragliders were very good as well. Made our small kids feel very comfortable. Full marks to the thrillophilia team...Had some trouble getting into paragliding. As the agent didn't pre-arrange it. But fortunately, my didn't get wasted. All thanks to the agent for arranging everything in the last minute. The experience was good. The fly was shorter than I ever expected. But it’s once in a lifetime experience for all!. I have tried paragliding in several other places in India but my experience in Bir Billing was the best. Not only the scenery was breathtaking but even the support staff was very helping. One of the experiences you should never miss and should visit Bir Billing for the same. It was a calming experience and no fear one. The pilots are gonna make you comfortable.

While landing photographers gonna take your shots, and would give it to you of you liked them with a charge of 200.

I visited in June 2022 and the whole package costed me 3000, buy for the experience it is worth it.

This is one of the best place for paragliding not just in India but in entire world.
One can reach Bir by Rail, Road and Airways. Nearest Airport is Kangra Airport. Nearest Railway station in Joginder Nagar which is a narrow gauge section. Bir Billing is well connected by roads.
Best time is from October to December and March to May. If you are an adventure enthusiast then must add this place in your bucket list.

Bir Billing is the paragliding capital of paragliding where I visited last month. So you can see a lot here like Paragliding, Camping, Trekking, Waterfall, Bugee Jumps, Monasteries etc., the weather here is very nice, the sunset of the night sinks with a lot of views. Our family went paragalding last month and had a great time and all the trainers are experienced and certified, they will guide you through the performance as well as all the safety details, I Will definitely recommend this Bir Billing Paragliding place.

World's second highest paragliding take of point. One can feel the proper feel of wind as if you are sitting outside a plane because the height is as much as a plane is flying during its landing time...
I have added pics of landing site and also adding two pics of take off point as that point is too crowded and you do not have time to click pics so I took these pics early in the morning at 7 AM.

It was once in a lifetime experience. Lending zone landscape was awesome. Fly was approx 22min. Book your ride on the spot it will be cheaper. Normally charges are 2k including video recording. But it totally depends on your bargaining skills. I paid even less then 1600-/RS
