Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden

It was great experience visiting here.such a big zoo definitely carry your water bottle in summer as they have water place at every distance which is quite impressive. One advice i would like to give is ,in summer try not to visit in afternoon because most of animals sleep or hide at there homes evening will be the bestest to visit. Also a must visit place because there is not some,there is a lot of things to see and also a fish house and butterfly park which is amazing. Excitement and fun both are high.....

It’s green! Very green! So it remains cool to walk around even in hotter climate, but I would advise you to carry water. Be sure to enter from Gate 1 to get easy access to the carts and the toy train. The other entrance is not of much help.

Depending on when you go the aquarium is incredibly crowded so we avoided it when we went.

Visited there 4 years ago (2018). Such a beautiful place to visit. I Must say one of the best zoo in India to visit.
If you are an animal lover this place is must visit for you. Zoo is very large and have different species of animals.

White Tigers and giraffe was my favourite during our visit. ✨

The place is quite popular and has huge number of tourists coming in. It houses several varieties of birds, fishes and animals including white tigers, hippopotamus, macaws, etc. to name a few. It has a small eating area inside for snacks and is good activity for family outing. It has a toy train or battery operated cars available for trips but you can also walk. The butterfly park which has extra ticket applied in it.

A great place for fun family day out

I love to visit this zoo, getting to this zoo is very easily, you can take either by taxi or by bus. the place is so vast and the animals being taken care and raise according to their habitat. although the place is vast you will not easily feel tired because of the surrounding ambience is very nice. You can walk around in this zoo by foot or tram, and also if you bring your children you can rent a stroller. children will be very happy at this place especially if they can join the feeding time, they can interact with the animals and feed them. they will never forget this experience. there is also a water park which certainly will be more exciting and fun. don't forget to bring your wet clothes to play the water with your children and ride the Pony after that...

A large place with clean environment. All animals are in their natural habitat. Nice place to visit with your friends. We all just love the Ostrich and Kiwis.
Battery operated vehicles and their drivers make the trip more convenient. Aged people can also enjoy this place with the help of these vehicles.
Both inside and outside cafeteria are great with lots of food options.
You can't take anything inside the zoo.

A very Big zoo but smaller than Kanpur Zoo. So many animals but nocturnal house nothing other than Python. There is a butterfly house too which is fun for nature & butterfly lovers. Battery car & Bal train also available to ride. Which gives tour of almost complete zoo but in a hurry. For best view visit is on foot. Restaurants available inside zoo. Also no plastic zone either do not carry plastic here or take it with you back. 3D show also available here i don't recommend it too watch but if you never seen any please have an experience of it but i guarantee you its not worth watch Beach glasses have so many scratches also screen appearance is some foggy so kindly avoid 3D shows. A big park available along with smaller park. A good place for growing kids to improve there animals knowledge.

This is a very good place to bring your young kids. You can watch animals and enjoy riding the toy train. 🚂🚂 There are a lot of things to explore such as butterfly garden, fish aquarium, boating pool etc.
