The Bar Index

Thane is a locality that I have recently started visiting and Bar Index provided that perfect opportunity.

For this looking for a quick review here it is.

1) Ambience 4.5/5

2) Food - 4.5/5

3) Service -4/5

4) Overall - 4.5/5

Here's a detailed analysis of my visit.

1) Ambience -

This place serves great alochol and works just a stock exchange for alcohol. There is a screen the changes depending on the demand and supply.

Super cool. The upper zone serves a s sheesha place. It's elegantly done. The feeling is the best when the ceiling lights flicker.. I don't have the sheesha myself so will not comment on it.  But loved the place and the ambience it offers.

2) Food!!

# Cheese Masala fries - A great variations to the usually boring french fries. Quoted with cheese sauce this fries was great.

# Fungi Malibu - This was completely stunning and took me by suprise. For the ones that like mushroom this is totally recommended. It's a Muchroon stuffed with beautiful mushroom mix, coated with a thin crepe lizke thing and baked. Topped with cheese sauce.. this was wonderful.

# Paneer Shole Kebab - The usual panner tikka with tamatoesbasil and bell pepper Skewered. It was ok.

# Oriental Puri - I love my Pani Puri. This was a East meets West kind of tribute to my puri.. so the puri was stuffed with Chinese BHEL and cheese. Honesty it was sok

# Mumbai Mirchi Kebabb- I totally loved this kebab. This was Beautifully marinated piece of meat with some really good chilli. The kick of the species was great. The tandoor just added that extra flavour. Loved it !!

# Bhatti ka murgh - It's visually beautiful. This kebabk is served to you on a sewer with the tandoor (check pic). It added to the esthetic appeal of the meal. Taste wise I prefered the Mumbai Mirchi Kebab

# Lime Wine chicken- Nice but not great. I could taste the lemon zest really well but the wine dint come through.

# Veg and non veg sizzler - We had two types of Sizzler. Hat I must say is the portions of this was really good. Sufficient for two.

* Chinese style - I totally love this . There was rice and noodles. With a Manchurian gravy. The flavours were stunning  and down in no time.. totally loved it.

*Butter Chicken and Rice - The butter chicken was really nice searved with a light butter sauce. Yummm!! But I still like the noodle one. 😉

# Rum tossed Gulab jamun # Very Tasty. A new take on the usual gulab Jamun!! Nice.

3)Service -  we were served well. Prompt and attentive

4) Over all -

I loved the food and the place. The sheesha zone was the best. Can get too crowded but still. Great to hangout for Ur sheesha. Go for this.

The bar index is located at hiranandani, good location, there is separate small room here for hukkah lovers and other big spaces for dining and aclohol etc. The service was quite good and crowd is decent too. The music was too loud.

Nice food. Ambience and music was ok. The AC was not working properly. Asked them many times to reduce the temperature, but no use. They charge GST and service charge both in the bill. They don't have Zomato gold, they also don't have corporate discount. Otherwise service is nice.

Visited few days ago. The place is located in meadows. The food is simply awesome and the price of drinks is low as well. One should visit between happy hours to save some money. Happy hours are from 11 am to 6 pm.

Great place for chilling n enjoying with ur friends over here. Will suggest u all people to go over here during happy hours 1-6pm. U will also get hookah over here best place ❣️☺️

The food was very bad and the service was very bad. The hukka wasn't good. The staff wasn't cooperating.

Good music. Hookah available. Nice ambience and selection of drinks with grt happy hours deal.

Good place to chill out with friends..only thing to watch out for non-smokers is that this is an open air place and hence smoking is allowed on each table
