It is a 120 years old place of worship. Built by Thikadars (Baburam Pradhan) of Namthang. It is located at Majhitar near State Highway connecting Melli with Jorethang in South Sikkim. At Majhitar you will see another monument preserved and in working condition i.e. bridge built over River Rungeet connecting with Badamtam of West Bengal. A living history, don't miss out, it may not be attractive asthetically but force you to revisit century back, you will love it.
