Raj Rajeshwer Temple Akola

Heritage place in Akola in old city. Good atmosphere. Excellent helpful temple staff as I had visited with my 85+ years old Mavshi.Clean, good access road. Parking is tricky but preferably one shud go by auto rickshaw.

Raja Rajeswara Temple Is an heritage of akola. Rucola cars Rajarajeshwari Temple and Rajarajeshwari Maharaj which is Bhole Nath Ji matters a lot. In Akola you will find a lot of shops Named Rajarajeshwari because of their love for Rajesh Maharaj. I have grown up listening number of stories regarding Rajarajeshwari Temple and its history from my grandparents and I myself connect alot with this temple. Right now during the Shravan month everyone wants to visit Rajarajeshwari Temple especially on Mondays there is very crowd. The temple is very special for me it’s always peaceful to go there. The management manages the Mandir and its vicinity pretty good . Jai bholenath❤️

One of the oldest temple in Akola, Rajeshwar Mandir, also known as Rajeshwar Nagari, is located in the famous Akola Fort. Linga in the temple has a little crack. The reason behind the crack is a story, which took place during the reign of King Akola Singh
