The Bada Ganapathi temple is one of the popular sites all visitors to Indore are taken to . As the name suggests, there is a huge 25ft tall idol of Ganapathi , painted in bright colours and dressed in brighter clothes and ornaments , seated in a courtyard . Apparently , this idol was made of special lime mortar , during late 19th Century by a wealthy man who , in a dream , was directed to do it . There is a small colourful Hanuman too . The atmosphere is more Mela-like than a temple. The road to this place is very congested and there is no parking space nearby . The whole locality is called also Bada Ganapathi .

When you come to take blessings of lord mahakaal, you cannot go without paying visit to shri bada ganesh mandir... here you will find a huge idol of ganeshji... temple is nearby to mahakaleshwar temple 🙏🙏🙏

Neat and clean temple of ganesh ji, not very crowded. You can easily do darshan in 10 mins. The ganesh idol is huge and just at the entrance of the temple.
The parking space nearby is less so take an auto or park little ahead of the temple.

Devotees can purchase Pooja material and Prasad (laddu) from the shops located opposite to the temple.
No space for four wheeler parking in front of temple and limited space for two wheeler parking.

Huge statue of lord Ganesha approx 25 feet height of lord Ganesha idol. It is located in congested area. That's why huge problem of parking space. You can drive car here bt can't park you vehicle here. This temple is so amazing and beautiful. Very popular among in local city. One of the best temple in indore. This is small temple with huge statue. Lots of sweet shops are available outside of temple. You can go there with family and friends too but can't stay for long time because of traffic issue. IT is crowned during festival like ganesh chaturthi so much. Must visit place if you live in indore it is located in City. In This place feels so blessed and peaceful.
