Dr.K.Narasimaiah Hospital ನರಸಿಂಹಯ್ಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ

Has good facilities. Both the private and semi-private wards are good. Was admitted twice. Once I arrived at the middle of the night at emergency. I was immediately treated. I used to consult a good doctor who no longer work here. Not sure of others. Both the private and semi-private wards are good.

Posting an edited review after a reprimanded follow up and a non-complacent explanation by the hospital:

Pros:
Morally supportive doctors - Took good care of both my parents who were admitted for COVID-19.
One of the first doctors in the city to start on treating COVID-19. They make sure the patients are well treated and cover all bases. The morale is positive which reflects well on the patients as a placebo too!

Insurance friendly - The only hospital in the city which offered COVID-19 care who even offered a cashless facility. Economically feasible for the general public too.

Facilities - Filtered water, good pharmacy and excellent lab facilities are available.

Cons:
Improvement needed in ambulance provision for getting scans and other tests for sensitive patients - We were on our own on a rainy evening to get HR-CTs from a different facility for two COVID positive patients.

Some concern about care takers of patients will be a cherry on top - Food brought in for patients can be attended to regularly.

Snooty receptionists - People who come to a hospital will already be dealing with many things. An improvement in the tone of voice of response and some concern towards them will go a long way.

More specific reporting on the condition of the patients inside to care takers would be very relieving as an innevitable ear to media makes people outside paranoid.

Overall both my parents were satisfied with the services provided and care bestowed upon them by the doctors.

The management is not trying to loot you, unlike most in context of the pandemic.

A couple of improvements and processes can potentially make it one of the best in the city.

Money minded... Just for caught doctor prescribes tests worth 10,800 rupees..

Good Hospitalisation, Good staff, Nurse & Doctors including Room ayya's..!

I think its my duty to tell others about doctors and nurses are working this hospital, I must mentioned dr.sudhir sir and dr. Vinay sir....were me and my father was admitted in this hospital due to covid there treatment was awesome, their talking style with patients are enough to cure deases....and sisters are also work and to treat the patients is no word to tell about that, all they have very good patience when listing the patients problem, i really this one, but one of the good and best hospital in tumkur, medicine ,treatment are very good.

I must mention about Dr.sudhir and Dr.vinay, my parents were covid positive and we were literally panicking like everyone,Dr. Sudhir made it so easy from the admission,Reports and mulitple test, Both doctors were caring and concerned, friendly while maintaining professional and efficient standards of service. I was so very thankful for the excellent care I received at Doctors Care at this hospital
