There is a small temple of "ugrappa". A pond near to this temple is called ugrappana chilume. Chilume means well or pond. Hence this name. This is on Sirsi kumta highway. The dangerous curving on the road has witnessed many accidents. So be careful while driving. This place is also well known because of number of accidents happened here.
