The temple complex is huge but has limited parking in front of the temple.
The premises are very well maintained and Prasadam is served everyday.

Goddess Chowdeshwari temple, it is taken care by BGS. Very neatly maintained & divine place. Very powerful goddess, those who come here they will get blessed by the goddess Chowdeshwari mother.

Very calm Environment. Most of the crowd during weekends. Very big temple well maintained. Annaprasada is available for devotees in the noon

Loved Tumkur and visited for first time. And temple is well maintained. It is open all the time 9AM to 9PM. People are polite.
The ticket cost is pricey, for Archana it is 50rps. And questions it’s 250. They can make it more Bhakti oriented.and less price. And buses can be arranged till temple. It’s quite interior. Well maintained. Overall experience is good.
They never pick phone. Only Monday Tuesday Sunday, the queries are answered.
It’s Gopura is enchanting and exceptionally tall. There is Anna santarpana at 1pm, afternoon.

Chowdeshwari is the presiding Goddess... With the presence of the grama devathe (village goddess) within the temple...

The temple is maintained by the Adi Chunchanagiri Mutt management... Very well maintained... Peaceful, calm, positive vibes all around... The temple authorities also serve lunch to all devotees everyday...

Note that the temple is open in the morning between 9am and 10am only... The temple has limited roadside parking only.. No major eateries around... Nearest town/city is Tumkur... Well connected by road and railways.. Bus stop right at the temple entrance... Railway station is abt 4kms..

The Goddess is known to answer queries of devotees.. The special days on which this occurs are Tuesdays, Fridays, Sundays, Amavasya and Hunime... Devotees are required to purchase a ticket/token by paying ₹250 per person for asking queries....

There are also other poojas that are performed including archane, vehicle pooja, bad eye removal (thade hodiyodhu), etc at very nominal price...

The archakas/staff are very cordial and helpful...

A very devine place... A strong positive energy.. Visit with utmost belief and surrender... You can feel the devi's presence, her blessings and protection...
