Lhasa spa

In the city of Agra, this is one of the best SPA available and over and above affordable with the talented and trained staff. I had been to many SPA in India and abroad, but I found the treatment here was the excellent.

It’s located in one of the finest affordable Hotel G Hotel in the city with good cuisine off course vegetarian.

I read the reviews on tripadviser before heading to Lhasa spa. The pictures put up are not at all real. The entrance was extremely shoddy and the name of the hotel listed is also incorrect. It’s actually a random hotel called “G hotel” and not “Mango Hotel”

On entering, the 3 of us paid up for a deep tissue massage. From the time the massage started - the man on the front desk kept talking NON-STOP. It was so loud we could hear his entire conversation inside the massage rooms. We even asked the massage girl to go tell the man to lower his tone, instead, he switched off the music and continued talking loudly on the phone.

The showers were ICE cold. We waited 10 minutes with the shower on hoping the water would warm up, but it didn’t. We had to leave unshowered! Furthermore, he probably put on the geyser whilst we were arguing and started calling us to the bathrooms telling us the water is hot!

Still can’t understand why he wouldn’t tell us his name? He started threatening us telling us if we write about him on tripadviser he’d write about us? I mean, what exactly did he mean by that, I have no idea?

After 15 minutes of arguing - finally one of the therapists admitted to the counter man that he really was loud and that she had even been sent out in the middle of the massage to tell him to please talk outside!

Can’t say the staff was particularly trained or professional, specially the man on the counter, extremely unprofessional. We asked him to tell us his name but he refused to tell us what his name is...?
Absolutely ridiculous.

The massage therapists were definitely NOT professionally trained. Had no idea what they were doing. I guess I’d still say the two therapists from the north east were okay - but the girl from Shimla had NO idea what she was doing! In either case - none of them knew anything about deep tissue massages.

To add on the place was honestly pretty unhygienic.

Im pretty sure all the reviews are probably written by the owner’s family or friends?
Because this was an unbelievably disappointing experience for me as a tourist.

Total scam of ₹6700/- after which we were rudely refunded just ₹700/-

Go to this place at your own risk! But I promise you for sure it’s a total scam.

I request tripadviser to please look into the reviews, they are definitely not genuine.

Post this incident - I had already posted the above review, somehow they deleted it.

Also Nikhil Sharma (claims he is the owner) called me and said he was apologetic and that I can go to other locations of the spa for complimentary massages.

After the call, he sent me the details. All the locations were so offbeat. I’m a Mumbai resident and the chances of me going to any of those locations are nil.
However I left it at that.

About half an hour later, the front desk employee called me on the phone, started to cry, saying he has a little girl and has been fired from the job ya-da yada - I said well, he should have thought of all these things before misbehaving with us!
He said if I removed the review he would get the job back. I refused.

Calling me on my number like that being an employee should have NOT been permitted.

The owner then messaged me saying he would refund half the money to me if I took down the review! I am so so so appalled by this experience.

I realised today that my entire review has been deleted from tripadviser. I don’t know what sort of business these people claim to be running and would advise tripadviser to please take it down from their portal.

I’m in half a mind to contact the police, and if I am contacted again, I will definitely do so and report this place.

Tripadviser team - PLEASE look into this. I do not know how the review I posted was deleted by these people.

I have now copy pasted my TRIPADVISER review for all people who find this place on google! It was such an horrifying experience!

Poor quality. Service quality very poor. Did not feel even a bit like Deep Tissue Massage. Washroom for taking a shower is also very poor.

Shower wasn’t working. This place is 4 flights up and lift was also not working. Massage was ok.

This is the first spa I have been and it is Okok .
I booked foot reflexology. I have seen many YouTube videos and got excited because there is lot of sole pain. The cost is 1500 + GST.
The service is good but it is worth 250~500. The same way we do at home regularly. Highly disappointed. 20% was done to foot . 30% was fine to calf and 50% was done to thigh. I was waiting for the foot turn but 30min over .

Lesson Learnt- Show the video and explain exactly how I need. Don’t rely on these people thinking that they will do foot because it’s named as foot reflexology.

It’s no way close to foot reflexology.

Highly professional and hygiene standard maintained are high.
