Gold's Gym

I was looking forward to my visit to Ludhiana and going to the Golds Gym. The guest pass was 500rs. So I expected some standards.

But I was taken back by how substandard it was for a Golds. It was so dirty inside like it hadn't been cleaned since it opened. I've been to desi gyms that charge 50 rs for a day pass that were cleaner than this.

Also the machines were broken. Dumbbells were unorganized. At least were the trainers helpful to point me in the right direction.

Not part of the gym but a service, the place where the guy makes shakes, looked appealing when I had walked in. But when I asked the person behind the counter if he had washed his hands with soap before making my drink. He said no I only ever use water. He then said he had been doing this for three years without any issues.

Look I understand its India but this is a Golds Gym. Its a poorly run gym, even the TV screens there were saying the cable was due for a recharge.

No standards at all. I will never be coming back. 500rs is a rip off for a poorly maintained place like this.

As it is renowned gym. There are some another facilities like Spa and body massage as well as personal lockers. But the major thing is there is no cross fit. This makes gym a little bit ordinary.

Discriminating staff and non-co-operating helpers.
Evening shift spotters are not to helping at all. They are supposed to help all the members, not to just stand there only for some huge body builders. Others are struggling to lift weights and they are standing with a few members.😑

help d me to claim my fitness and health back thanks for abundantly available helping trainers....good gym floor aswell....but some illiterate customer/members have to learn how to re-rack the wieghts as u might may stumble upon anytime...also music and Dj Department really needs to workout and learn what workout music is...people who are complaining about broken equipment are only wright for the cardio section upto some extend ....other than that this gym is equipped with hoist and cybex weight training machinery which are virtually immortal and no other gym has such machines with such good ergonomics....

Price is to value ratio very good. Good gym floor. Quality of spa Amenities are average. Best discounts are offered near Diwali. Verdict: recommended.

Edit: this gym cannot even maintain sufficient cooling in summers , so stay away. I will not join next year.

Many times some new people are coming to Gym but no coach and other sporting staff will help to right exercise position

All gym members had taken memberships of a year or some had taken half yearly but suddenly gym closed and the owner is not responding. Its a very pity on the name of GOLD'S GYM.

gym has made big scam with members..i have make fee for 1 year and after 6 months gym suddenly closed ..
